Pill, panel, and menu bar

The pill#

The pill is the compact bar under the notch. It shows glanceable status: an active-session count or live usage gauges, depending on your settings. It does not take keyboard focus and stays in the top-center notch area.

  • Keep it always visible, hide it when idle, or show it only while expanded.
  • Keep it always on as usage gauges, with up to four agents promoted by the Pill row under Usage.
  • Widths, density, text size, and session-list sizing are adjustable under Notch settings. Glass depth, opacity, and colors live under Appearance.

The panel#

Click the pill, or let it open on its own, and the panel expands. It's the working surface for everything live: sessions, permission and question prompts, plans, token usage, and local servers. The Pages menu in the panel header opens Local Servers, Quick Routes, Fast Actions, and Views as in-notch pages, and Chat and the Agent Board as their own windows.

AgentPeek can auto-expand the panel when an agent needs attention, so a permission prompt or question arrives already laid out instead of sitting unnoticed in a background terminal. A global hotkey toggles the notch open and closed from anywhere.

Displays and layout#

You choose which displays show the notch surface, and floating widgets can sit on any display, external ones included. Notch settings cover expanded and collapsed widths, density, text size, session-list sizing, and widget size. Appearance settings cover glass depth, opacity, per-agent avatar colors, and per-tool colors.
