Settings

The 12 tabs#

  • General: the Features list that switches Sessions, Usage, Quick Routes, Fast Actions, Views, Local Servers, and Kanban on or off; app language and the clock format used for usage resets; launch at login; and a Recent decisions list of your last prompt answers.
  • Agents: a tracking toggle for every supported agent, plus per-agent Session metadata checkboxes that pick which fields a session row shows. Disabled agents stay hidden and untracked, and at least one remains enabled.
  • Notch: what the collapsed pill shows and how wide it is; expanded panel width, session list mode, session titles, and the session chat box; density, text size, and floating widget size; prompt handling, attention-driven expansion and collapse, and tooltips.
  • Displays: whether the notch and the menu bar item run at all, and which screens the notch appears on, including per-monitor exclusions.
  • Appearance: per-window theme for Settings, the menu bar, the Agent Board, and chat windows; the full-black notch look; metric and glass opacity; glass depth; session title weight and hover highlight; motion, including instant page switching, card sweep, and idle shimmer; avatars; and tool colors.
  • Shortcuts: global hotkeys to toggle the notch or to allow, deny, or always-allow the frontmost prompt, plus recorded shortcuts that launch saved Views.
  • Advanced: the visible-session cap; Last Reply, Transcript, Tools, Todos, Plan, Subagents, and subagent history limits; usage and session refresh timing; how long finished sessions stay in the notch; and Restore default settings.
  • Usage: per-agent gauges and account; the Panel, Header, Pill, and Menu bar sets; reset countdowns and count-down mode; estimated API costs for subscription sessions; plus Cursor's measure and extra bars.
  • Notifications: banner delivery, sound packs and per-agent overrides, session alerts, usage alerts, token and spend budgets, forecast cost budgets, quiet hours, and a test notification.
  • Doctor: check each enabled agent's supported tracking requirements, sign-in state, and usage source, with exact repair actions where available.
  • License: your license status, a field to activate a key, and a confirmed action to deactivate this Mac before moving the license to another Mac.
  • About: check for updates with Sparkle, plus links to the docs, the version log, and acknowledgements.

Global shortcuts#

Global hotkeys work from any app: toggle the notch open and closed, or allow, deny, or always-allow the frontmost prompt without opening AgentPeek at all. Recorded shortcuts can also launch any saved View. Set them all in Settings then Shortcuts.

Updates#

AgentPeek updates through Sparkle from the About tab, and a license includes updates for as long as AgentPeek is supported. The version log lists what changed in each release.
